Serendipitous Terpsichore

This was cited elsewhere this morning as a clip with a good example of the La Baratte movement. And so it is. But it's posted here because it's an intricate, beautiful dance, beautifully executed by the Dunedin Dancers and with excellent music and I greatly enjoyed watching it. (The heading is somewhat misleading. Scottish Country Dance is not, strictly speaking, folk dance. The usual description is that it is the ballroom dancing of Scotland. This dance, called the Mic Mac Rotary, which seems to be named after a roundabout somewhere in Atlantic Canada, was choreographed well within living memory by John Drewry.) Enjoy.
