27 July -- Bl Titus Brandsma, O. Carm.

The Carmelite calendar keeps the memory of Bl Titus Brandsma today. He is a 20th century saint, a Dutch Carmelite, university professor, philosopher and pillar of the Dutch Catholic press back when it was a Catholic press. After the invasion of the Netherlands by the German forces in the second world war he continued to write and condemn the Nazi philosophy.
