(At the moment The Inn despairs of this one for an additional reason. At least according to what The Times reports, it seems to us that the Court actually ruled correctly on the states' rights issue, which was the issue in question here. Getting it right for the wrong reason or wrong for the right reason? Perhaps a read of the actual opinion is in order before the really heave-duty pontificating commences.
